"It's so nice to be singing with the Brahms Choir..."

The 2018 season rehearsals start September 10th, with the first three being open rehearsals.

Our Christmas concert will be on December 2nd. We selected the theme of "The Peace of Christmas:  Wishing for Peace, The Promise of Peace, and Celebrating the Peace of Christmas" for the Christmas season.

In order to honour the German roots of the choir, we will sing selections of music by Brahms, Mendelssohn, and Schütz, but our programme will also include sing-along carols and other shorter classical pieces.

Monday nights, 7:00 to 9:30p.m.

The Ottawa Brahms choir is a community choir with a classical and contemporary repertoire. We sing in German, English and French.

We are always interested in new people who like to sing. We like to see new members in each of the four voices (sopranos, altos, tenors and basses). Because the choir is particularly lacking in tenors and basses, they will be given an especially warm welcome!

Our practices are Mondays at 7:00 p.m. in the Southminster United Church, 15 Aylmer Ave. (corner of Bank). (map)

We use the entrance in the back, 7 Galt Street.
